This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all phases of the proposal development process, from opportunity assessment and kickoff to response planning, content creation, reviews, production, approval, and final submission.
• Examine and evaluate public-sector, higher education, and commercial RFx documents for requirements, evaluation criteria, submission guidelines, risks, dependencies, and compliance obligations.
• Create proposal timelines, responsibility matrices, content plans, and review milestones.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, recruiting, legal, finance, and executive stakeholders to craft compelling and accurate proposal content.
• Facilitate solutioning sessions that encompass proposed approaches, staffing models, deployment methodologies, differentiators, and value propositions.
• Convert technical and functional information into clear, concise, customer-oriented narratives.
• Compose, edit, and refine content while ensuring consistency among contributions from various authors.
• Oversee proposal compliance, including templates, page limits, forms, certifications, attachments, formatting, and submission guidelines.
• Manage inquiries, assumptions, exceptions, and clarification requests from potential clients.
• Identify gaps, risks, and constraints, and propose solutions or escalation paths.
• Lead proposal status meetings to communicate progress, decisions, risks, and action items.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and Delivery leadership to validate proposed staffing, qualifications, résumés, and resource assumptions.
• Maintain and enhance ERPA’s proposal boilerplate and repository of reusable content.
• Establish processes for content ownership, review cycles, version control, tagging, and retiring outdated materials.
• Utilize Claude and other AI tools for research, content creation, editing, summarization, compliance reviews, and content reuse, ensuring output accuracy, confidentiality, tone, and quality.
• Engage in proposal retrospectives and apply lessons learned to enhance win strategies, content, tools, and processes.
• Assist with additional sales-enablement and pursuit activities as business needs arise.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal management or development for government, public-sector, higher education, and/or commercial opportunities.
• Experience in creating deployment and/or Application Management Services (AMS)/managed services proposals for Workday or similar enterprise SaaS solutions related to HCM, Financial Management, Student Information Systems, or comparable business platforms.
• Capability to independently manage multiple complex proposals and meet competing deadlines.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, functional, delivery, recruiting, contracts, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong technical and functional understanding of implementation approaches, deployment methodologies, staffing models, integrations, data conversion, testing, change management, and common SaaS delivery concepts.
• Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, and document management skills.
• Proven experience in maintaining reusable proposal content, boilerplate libraries, or knowledge repositories.
• Practical experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including styles, section management, tables, references, captions, headers and footers, and complex document formatting.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint and/or Canva for presentation development is preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Exceptional verbal communication, facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive business information.
• Knowledge of structured proposal methodologies, color-team reviews, compliance matrices, storyboarding, and win-theme development.
• Understanding of enterprise software deployment methodologies and the professional services sales lifecycle.
• Experience in contributing to proposal-process transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
