This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop calendars and milestones for concurrent bids, ensuring compliance with timelines.
• Formulate outlines to produce engaging, innovative, and compliant proposals.
• Create proposal materials including matrices, tables, graphs, executive summaries, and management strategies.
• Monitor Q&A sessions; review and pinpoint changes, documenting and sharing these updates with the bid team.
• Guarantee timely updates of past performance/resumes with relevant team members.
• Organize proposal kick-off, color review, and lessons learned meetings; confirm that all action items and comments are addressed.
• Assess draft content to ensure proposal consistency, flow, and compliance.
• Assist in desktop publishing to finalize proposal documents.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing bids that adhere to corporate standards.
• Provide quality assurance and feedback for process or procedure enhancements within the department and cross-functionally.
• Aid in identifying requirements for and/or managing strategic library content.
• Ensure compliance with standards and templates for a uniform appearance/style across proposal responses.
• Utilize the existing proposal response library to effectively address recurring content inquiries and craft customized RFx responses.
• Minimum of three years of experience in writing and coordinating federal government proposals or grants.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint applications.
• Strong editorial and proofreading abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the capability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Ability to research, interpret, and analyze RFx requirements.
