This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the comprehensive proposal and tendering processes for EPC projects in the Water & Wastewater Treatment, Oil & Gas, and Municipal sectors.
• Assess RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation to create effective proposal strategies aimed at winning contracts.
• Review and finalize both technical and commercial proposals developed by proposal engineers, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, procurement, project management, and sales to gather necessary inputs for proposals.
• Establish proposal timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities by utilizing structured proposal management methodologies.
• Conduct high-level technical assessments of process designs, PFDs, P&IDs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Contribute strategic insights into bid/no-bid evaluations alongside business development and executive teams.
• Foster and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance competitive advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or a related field).
• At least 15 years of experience in technical proposal development, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale proposals for water and wastewater treatment initiatives, including EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of process engineering, system design, budgeting, equipment selection, and cost estimation.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements specific to the Middle East.
• Outstanding project planning, coordination, and team leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a capacity to engage with clients and senior stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in proposal software, MS Office, AutoCAD, and design tools for hydraulic and process calculations.
• Knowledge of costing in the UAE and GCC markets.
• Familiarity with Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) technology.
