This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee designated Renewables proposal initiatives from the initial intake to the final submission.
• Strategize proposals, create timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, generate documents, assist with estimates, facilitate reviews, and manage the final production process.
• Examine RFPs, gather intake information, and assess client requirements to pinpoint missing details, compliance requirements, scope clarifications, subcontractor necessities, and RFI items.
• Create proposal documents, exhibits, and sales materials utilizing approved templates, Templafy content libraries, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Conduct research, analysis, writing, editing, and organization of accurate, compelling, client-focused, and compliant proposal content.
• Formulate proposal development plans, oversee assignments and communications, and organize proposal responses.
• Aid in estimate development by initiating drafts, identifying inputs, aligning scope with estimate assumptions, and tracking updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Services, Field Services, Project Management, Legal, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate kickoff, progress, Pink/Green, Red, and Gold review sessions.
• Establish and maintain Teams folders, group chats, Loop components, RFI logs, review trackers, and scheduling reminders.
• Manage comments, revisions, approvals, signatures, and finalize PDF production.
• Organize final packaging, electronic submissions, and deliveries as per client instructions and deadlines.
• Assist in proposal closeout, identification of reusable content, content updates, and capturing lessons learned.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of workflows, tools, templates, standard content, resource libraries, and process documentation.
• Work in partnership with technical stakeholders to clarify and communicate project scope.
• Manage or facilitate subcontractor elements as required.
• Lead internal meetings focused on specific opportunities.
• Engage in the development of processes, efficiency tools, and databases.
• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management, engineering, technology, renewable energy, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–6 years of experience in proposal development, project coordination, project management, technical writing, estimating support, engineering support, or related roles in Power, Renewables, infrastructure, or consulting settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, documents, and stakeholder feedback.
• Capacity to work effectively across diverse teams and influence without direct authority.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, ask clarifying questions, identify gaps, and establish practical solutions.
• Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent pursuits in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Willingness to adopt evolving technology and AI tools.
• Must possess permanent authorization to work in Canada.
• Preferred: experience with proposals in renewable energy, power delivery, engineering consulting, utility, EPC, or infrastructure sectors.
• Preferred: familiarity with Shipley color review processes or analogous methodologies.
• Preferred: experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Loop, Templafy, proposal databases, content management tools, Adobe InDesign, or Adobe Illustrator.
• Preferred: experience in supporting scope and fee proposals, qualifications-based proposals, cost estimates, resumes, organization charts, compliance matrices, or client-specific proposal packages.
