This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop designated government proposals in line with RFPs and corporate standards.
• Analyze intricate client requirements and engage with clients and team members to create proposals, presentations, plans, and procedures.
• Guide and mentor staff in crafting high-quality proposals, plans, and presentations.
• Foster collaborative relationships with Division Directors and Business Development teams.
• Communicate win strategies with the proposal development group, VP of Operations, and Division Directors.
• Report to upper management both in writing and verbally; liaise with clients and contractor personnel; allocate resources effectively.
• Compose detailed technical proposals and determine pricing for prospective projects.
• Evaluate and communicate potential project risks and challenges.
• Ensure bid submissions are accurate, compliant, and adhere to quality standards.
• Analyze RFPs and develop compliance matrices.
• Create storyboards, sectional outlines, and writing templates.
• Facilitate capture and proposal meetings.
• Gather technical data, processes, and organizational strategies.
• Conduct research and independently devise solutions to operational needs.
• Draft bid content, including executive summaries, organizational credentials, cost narratives, technical sections, and past performance volumes.
• Edit bids for precision, consistency, tone, style, and compliance.
• Collaborate with a graphics specialist to design document visuals.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Lead teams in proposal and capture-plan development while providing project direction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in proposal management and capture management.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in government project management.
• Proven experience in securing contracts across diverse industries and government clients.
• Solid understanding of government service contracts and strategies for winning and managing them.
• Must obtain and maintain required security clearances and/or background checks.
• Strong skills in technical and management proposal writing.
• Ability to create comprehensive plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Capable of composing clear, concise, error-free, and on-message text independently.
• Creative and analytical skills to generate high-quality content from scratch.
• Proficient in research and problem-solving.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, including complex tables, headers and footers, Word Styles, tables of contents, and professional document formatting.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking across various projects.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks based on business needs and deadlines.
• Full-time availability; additional hours may be necessary.
• Travel anticipated to be under 25%.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s automobile insurance policy.
• Driving may be necessary for training or occasional local trips; expected driving time is less than 25%.
