This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Spearhead capture initiatives for key opportunities, encompassing opportunity qualification, development of win strategies, competitive analysis, and solution design.
• Create and implement detailed capture plans that align with Sabel Systems’ business objectives and growth aspirations.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with government clients, industry collaborators, and essential stakeholders to shape strategy and team dynamics.
• Perform competitive evaluations, price-to-win assessments, risk analysis, and differentiation tactics.
• Manage and synchronize capture-related efforts in collaboration with Business Development, Operations, Solutions Architects, Pricing, and Proposal teams.
• Facilitate gate reviews, readiness evaluations, and management presentations, ensuring strategic alignment and executive endorsement.
• Lead teaming strategies, which include identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Formulate customer engagement plans, influence customer requirements, and guarantee solutions meet mission objectives.
• Aid in proposal development by shaping technical, management, and pricing sections to reflect the capture strategy.
• Monitor, report, and forecast capture progress, resource requirements, and anticipated results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Over 7 years of experience in federal contracting, including at least 4 years focused on capture management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and securing captures exceeding $25M+ (or of a size relevant to the company’s scale).
• In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition procedures, RFP/solicitation formats, and competitive procurement processes.
• Experience in supporting DoD, USAF, DHA, or other pertinent mission areas relevant to Sabel Systems’ portfolio.
• Demonstrated capability to cultivate relationships at senior levels within government and industry sectors.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with price-to-win strategies, competitive analysis, and solution development.
