This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee capture initiatives for strategic opportunities from the qualification stage to contract award.
• Formulate and implement capture strategies, winning methodologies, competitive evaluations, stakeholder maps, and account engagement strategies.
• Conduct research on customers and partners to determine purchasing influences, funding sources, acquisition routes, and competitive positioning.
• Assist in opportunity qualification based on established criteria such as strategic alignment, win probability, revenue potential, and resource needs.
• Drive collaboration and partnership strategies with defense prime contractors, hardware suppliers, system integrators, and channel partners.
• Oversee the complete proposal lifecycle, including kickoff meetings, compliance checks, schedule oversight, color team assessments, and final submission.
• Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, response templates, and proposal management strategies.
• Coordinate inputs from technical subject matter experts, product leaders, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure proposals meet compliance standards, are persuasive, and align clearly with customer requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Author and refine executive summaries, management approaches, technical descriptions, and value propositions.
• Review solicitations and contractual obligations for adherence to FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, cybersecurity, and software licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to promote strategic opportunities and enhance win rates.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in capture management, proposal management, business development, or strategic pursuits within Aerospace, Defense, or Government Technology sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully securing complex opportunities valued over $1M.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD acquisition processes, and government procurement practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and executive communication abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to comprehend and articulate technical software solutions to both business and technical audiences.
• Familiarity with proposal and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Privia, GovWin, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
