This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional sales objectives.

• Evaluate market trends and customer requirements to uncover new business prospects.

• Generate and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to executive management.

• Oversee a region of professional independent insurance agents and recruit new agents with a focus on profitability and expansion.

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients and partners.

• Address inquiries from agents and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.

• Conduct agency visits and presentations within your region to promote company offerings and enhance both new and existing business.

• Increase written premium in the region by promoting a comprehensive range of commercial lines products and underwriting them for profitability.

• Perform market research to remain updated on competitors and industry developments.

• Provide insights and suggestions to enhance sales strategies and product offerings.

• Keep precise records of sales activities and client interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of sales experience in the insurance sector and/or commercial underwriting.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be physically capable of operating a company vehicle.

• Candidates should be ready for extensive driving, including potential long-distance travel.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capable of independently managing a large independent sales team.

• Proven success in achieving sales goals and fostering business growth.

• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation.

• High-speed cable/DSL internet access is mandatory.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, are required.
