This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the multi-year account strategy for designated clients.
• Act as the primary executive contact for client leadership at the highest level.
• Assist clients in comprehending options, trade-offs, and the implications of intricate pharmacy benefit decisions.
• Spearhead renewal strategies and negotiations in collaboration with underwriting, legal, and finance teams.
• Formulate and deliver clear recommendations regarding pricing, guarantees, and solution design.
• Identify opportunities for growth through thorough financial and strategic evaluations aligned with client objectives.
• Utilize analytics platforms and AI-driven tools to track performance and uncover risks or opportunities.
• Maintain a solid understanding of account economics, including drug trends, pricing structures, rebates, and guarantees.
• Analyze financial data and provide clear explanations of results to both clients and internal leadership.
• Balance the delivery of client value while ensuring long-term business sustainability.
• Cultivate relationships with consultants who influence the assigned accounts.
• Represent the organization in a clear and professional manner during competitive scenarios.
• Integrate relevant market and regulatory considerations into client discussions.
• Offer clear guidance to internal partners, including Account Executives and various functional teams.
• Raise any risks, resource requirements, or execution challenges through established leadership channels.
• Identify client pain points and collaborate across teams to implement solutions.
• Possesses over 7 years of experience in healthcare or managed care, particularly with large employer accounts.
• Has successfully led complex renewal processes and pricing discussions.
• Comfortable translating financial data into straightforward recommendations.
• Able to engage effectively and confidently with senior stakeholders, including clients and consultants.
• Demonstrates sound judgment in high-pressure and ambiguous situations.
• Understands both the economic and operational aspects of pharmacy benefit management delivery.
• Exhibits strong digital and AI fluency, with the capability to apply advanced tools to complex judgment and client decision-making.
