This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Establish and cultivate long-lasting strategic partnerships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Oversee a designated account portfolio, pinpointing high-potential prospects and steering business development initiatives to foster regional growth.
• Serve as a brand representative at trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and shape market perceptions.
• Analyze client requirements to identify inefficiencies in buildings and systems.
• Collaborate early in the process to impact specifications and system design choices, ensuring our solutions are incorporated from the project's inception.
• Manage the bid process by identifying opportunities, crafting detailed proposals, and leading negotiations to secure new clients.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams to guarantee technical feasibility and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the transition from "sale" to "execution," ensuring the operations team is well-prepared and the customer experience remains uninterrupted.
• Propel the sales cycle through disciplined follow-ups and proactive communication.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC or BAS Controls sector.
• At least 1 year of sales experience within the HVAC or BAS Controls industry.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid and current Driver’s License is necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in the HVAC/BAS Controls industry is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge in Sales, HVAC, Building Automation, and/or controls is preferred.
• Experience in sales within the BAS/HVAC Controls Industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and the ability to promote usage among team members is preferred.
• Prior leadership experience with a capability to lead and inspire diverse teams is preferred.
• Strong ability to deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills are preferred.
• Experience in analyzing market and company data to formulate business strategies is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 360 applications is preferred.
