This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• The Property Quality and Improvement Consultant ~ Claims Quality Solutions (CQS) is tasked with auditing damage estimates within the Property Claim sector, focusing particularly on estimates created by OCRs, Independent Adjusters, Preferred Vendors, and Inside Claim Handlers.
• Contribute to our Claim Excellence, Field Operations, and Performance Analytics teams through precise and timely audit processes, as well as high-quality and impactful reporting.
• Ensure the precision and uniformity of reinspection reviews, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Recognize, develop, and execute enhancements for audits and reporting whenever feasible.
• Collaborate effectively with RIS team members to deliver well-calibrated results, encompassing a comprehensive review of pertinent information such as estimates, file notes, photos, reporting conclusions, EQI ratings, and financial variances.
• Consult, influence, and collaborate efficiently with Claim Operations, Claims Supplier Management, Training, and Performance Analytics teams.
• Stay informed about factors that may influence the team, including industry and marketplace trends, organizational strategies, and leadership priorities.
• Exhibit essential leadership competencies in the daily execution of CQS objectives, including self-development, fostering partnerships, and driving results.
• Effectively implement the established RIS operating plan, including ad hoc activities and targeted reviews throughout the year.
• Foster and promote a “customer service” and “open for business” mentality within CQS.
• Generate timely reports encompassing all estimating sources within the Quality and Improvement Consultant’s jurisdiction.
• Engage in CAT activities and other special projects as an on-call resource.
• Create high-quality, impactful reports that clearly express audit findings, identify trends, highlight strengths and opportunities, and include a suitable level of root-cause analysis.
• Present data and supporting analysis clearly, integrating information from other sources (e.g., Actuary, other CQS work) to validate and/or test RIS findings.
• Clearly define and apply the DQI (Define, Quantify, Inform) methodology in reinspection reports.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Property claims and estimating is required.
• Experience with Large Loss/Major Cases is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Xactimate and other estimating tools utilized by Claim Handlers, Team Leaders, Managers, and Quality and Improvement Consultants.
• Knowledge of ECOS, EDM, and related automation tools and processes is essential.
• Advanced technical skills in building estimation, along with robust industry knowledge concerning building repairs and the relevant legal and regulatory framework.
• Proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and trend identification.
• Demonstrated expertise in claim handling skills and decision-making abilities.
• A strong focus on customer service, both internal and external.
• Self-driven with a proven commitment to excellence.
• A results-oriented mindset that encourages positive teamwork and fosters strong working relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence team members and business partners.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation abilities.
• Overnight travel is required: approximately 30–40% of the time.
