Property Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervision: May be tasked with overseeing the responsibilities and activities of the Assistant Property Manager, ensuring their effective execution and providing essential support.

• Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between Darwin Homes and designated clients, internal teams, and external vendors. Maintain ongoing communication with residents and additional services.

• Property Management: Manage the properties within the designated portfolio, assist leasing staff with move-in activities, and address client escalations. Collaborate with other departments to enhance portfolio performance.

• Repairs and Maintenance: Organize and coordinate repairs and maintenance for properties within the portfolio. Conduct and manage regular property inspections as necessary.

• Rent Collection and Policy Adherence: Prioritize rent collection throughout the month while complying with strict collections policies.

• Resident Relations: Represent the company in a professional manner to current and prospective residents, emphasizing a customer-first approach. Assist in resident relations initiatives and prepare residents for tenancy with the company.

• Market Awareness: Remain updated on local market conditions, trends, and competition to effectively position the company.

• Lease Management: Collaborate with current residents to renew leases, facilitate transfers to other properties, and promote brand loyalty. Work with internal and external legal counsel to oversee eviction processes.

• Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Property Management

• Active Real Estate License

• High School Diploma or GED

• Active Real Estate License

• Preference for candidates holding an active license in multiple states

• Experience with YARDI is preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
