Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Travel to clients' residences to perform on-site property evaluations.

• Examine coverage and assess damages.

• Generate estimates and resolve claims efficiently and promptly.

• Manage virtual claims across the country.

• Utilize Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.

• Deliver empathetic and clear customer service throughout the claims process.

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing.

• Assess and negotiate settlements with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Employ legal and business-standard practices during negotiations.

• Apply critical thinking skills to tackle intricate and challenging claims situations.

• Implement policies according to policy agreements.

• Ensure timely and precise claim documentation within the claims management system.

• Participate in approximately 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in the specified location is required.

• Capability and willingness to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story buildings.

• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in construction estimating or as an outside adjuster is strongly desired.

• Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software.

• Strong critical thinking and technical abilities to accurately assess damages and expedite claims processing.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel to clients' homes and manage virtual claims nationwide.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• This position is not open to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

• Must undergo a background check.

• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hire, if applicable.

• A dedicated, private home workspace with suitable desk and seating is required.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
