This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate and communicate contract quality requirements to the project team.
• Assist in kickoff meetings to relay contract-specific requirements to all stakeholders.
• Aggregate lessons learned from prior projects and translate them into actionable insights.
• Establish the quality assurance strategy and collaborate with the Project Director to identify potential project risks.
• Develop project quality plans along with inspection and testing protocols.
• Disseminate quality plans and ensure adherence by project team members.
• Organize and oversee quality inspections in partnership with customers and the supply chain.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of quality databooks for various components.
• Track project process performance metrics, including non-quality costs, product non-conformities, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction rates.
• Coordinate customer satisfaction assessments and manage feedback processes.
• Handle non-conformity documentation.
• Assist in analyzing and managing costs associated with non-quality, claims, containment, corrective, and preventive measures.
• Support the site team with quality documentation, ensuring that quality control aligns with client expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles and tools.
• Relevant experience in project management is essential.
• Background in customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada and North America.
• Preferred experience in the hydropower sector.
• A professional engineering license is desirable.
• Fluency in French is a plus.
• Project Management Certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, proactivity, urgency, autonomy, and the ability to engage with various functions.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a multicultural and global setting.
