This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary liaison for the Project Procurement Team Leader managing a portfolio of projects.
• Oversee sourcing, procurement, and logistics operations.
• Create and sustain the project procurement execution strategy.
• Align procurement milestones, supplier lead times, logistics actions, and project timelines.
• Maintain a unified procurement roadmap across the BTM portfolio.
• Ensure material and service quality, negotiated prices, and timely delivery.
• Jointly manage the Engineering Procurement Plan where applicable.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing to secure supplier documentation promptly.
• Manage and track the material budget.
• Establish procurement timelines and monitor their advancement.
• Guarantee that procurement execution adheres to the project procurement execution plan.
• Identify and alleviate supply chain risks affecting essential project equipment.
• Follow up on the timely resolution of supplier-related Non-Conformance Reports (NCPs).
• Assist Sourcing in acquiring technical specifications from Engineering.
• Initiate or take part in regular project meetings and track action items.
• Review supplier compliance with contractual customs and duties obligations.
• Oversee the management of supplier claims in collaboration with the Commodity Leader/Buyer.
• Provide monthly updates on progress, supplier claims, and project cost summaries.
• Update supplier cash out and project milestone acknowledgments related to procurement.
• Represent Procurement in both internal and external project discussions.
• Support adherence to Quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Assist the Project Procurement Team Leader in meeting overall project objectives.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in a high voltage electrical construction project environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically 40% of the time.
• Must adhere to all relevant company travel and tax regulations.
• Capacity to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime as necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Management is preferred.
• Experience in roles such as Project Manager, Tender Project Manager, Senior Purchasing Manager, Senior Sourcing Manager, or Sales Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of legal and contractual elements of an EPC contract.
• Knowledge of risk management principles.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Proficient negotiation skills with suppliers or customers.
• General understanding of purchasing standards, policies, procedures, and sourcing management.
• Capability to mentor and develop team members.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to independently address issues with challenging suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling and planning for large and complex projects.
• Technical understanding of purchased products and familiarity with power plants.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically 40% of the time.
• Flexible work schedule including necessary overtime.
