This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with VCM Leads and cross-functional teams to comprehend business processes and convert identified needs into data and analytics tasks.
• Construct, validate, maintain, and document components of analytics and operations research solutions utilizing established methods, templates, and development standards.
• Assist with network capacity and supply chain models in Python by preparing data, managing parameters, executing scenarios, validating results, and documenting processes.
• Create analyses, reports, and visualizations with Power BI, Qlik, or Spotfire to aid in business decision-making.
• Gather, clean, validate, and organize data from various sources while ensuring data quality and traceability.
• Support process standardization initiatives by adhering to established SOPs, templates, coding standards, and best practices while identifying areas for incremental improvement.
• Work alongside Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, Quality, CMC, and VCM teams to collect inputs, communicate findings, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Oversee assigned tasks to fulfill timelines and project goals within set guidelines.
• Participate in project teams or workstreams and coordinate specific tasks or small deliverables under the guidance of a project lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain, or a related scientific or technical field.
• Approximately 0-2 years of pertinent experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics, Strategic Analysis, or a similar area.
• Capability to utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address routine and moderately complex business inquiries through established methods and tools.
• Proficient in Python or a similar programming language.
• Experience in querying databases using SQL.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data structures.
• Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with structured datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analyses and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with at least one analytics or visualization platform such as Power BI, Qlik, or Spotfire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
• Understanding of comprehensive supply chain processes, including Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver.
• Knowledge of Long Range Operations Planning (LROP) or supply planning principles.
• Exposure to version control tools like Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Academic or practical experience in mathematical modeling, optimization, simulation, statistics, or linear algebra.
• Familiarity with cross-functional business settings involving Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Technology, Quality, Regulatory, or Commercial Operations.
• Enthusiasm for applying analytics and modeling techniques to support supply chain and operational decision-making.
• Open to US and Puerto Rico residents only.
