This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Oversee daily project workflows for public sector construction initiatives, especially those related to sewer enhancements and water treatment projects.
• Collaborate with onsite project and field personnel through regular meetings and continuous communication.
• Track project advancement, deliverables, timelines, requirements, and items requiring attention.
• Liaise with cities, counties, states, and government entities regarding project updates, requirements, and coordination.
• Review and organize project documentation, schedules, and management information.
• Utilize company software, systems, and tools to deliver remote project management support.
• Manage calendars, meetings, follow-ups, and project action items.
• Identify potential challenges or delays and communicate them in advance.
• Ensure effective communication between remote operations and onsite teams.
• Provide oversight, organization, and accountability expected from a seasoned onsite Project Manager.
• Assist with additional project management and construction operations needs as necessary.
• 5–10+ years of experience in U.S. construction project management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing U.S.-based construction projects.
• Background in public sector, government, or public works construction projects.
• Preferred experience with sewer improvements, water treatment, wastewater, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. construction project workflows and documentation.
• Fully fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable coordinating remotely with onsite teams and external stakeholders.
• Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented demeanor.
• Availability for full-time work on Eastern Time.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
• Willingness to learn and work across various construction and project management platforms.
• Comfortable participating in scheduled meetings with onsite teams.
• Remote work setup.
• Full-time schedule, 5 days a week.
• Month-to-month engagement.
• Flexibility as an independent contractor to manage work on your own terms (with responsibility for your own equipment, taxes, and benefits).
