Project Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee all internal IT projects from the initial planning stage through to execution.

• Act as Scrum Master for internal project teams.

• Deliver Scrum and project reports to senior management.

• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

• Develop and uphold detailed project documentation.

• Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and costs utilizing appropriate verification techniques.

• Formulate both short- and long-term plans, establish milestone targets, meet deadlines, and allocate resources accordingly.

• Assign project tasks to suitable team members.

• Identify and manage risks and liabilities across various projects.

• Oversee and prioritize multiple projects at the same time.

• Coordinate with internal resources and third-party vendors.

• Ensure the availability and proper allocation of resources.

• Monitor project performance and the successful attainment of objectives.

• Achieve budgetary goals and modify project constraints based on financial assessments.

• Plan sprints and tasks using Jira.

• Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Asana.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in IT project management within a consulting or professional services environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to organize, motivate, and communicate with teams.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with product and/or software development processes.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is essential.

• Understanding of resource management, encompassing human, financial, and other asset-based resources.

• Strong preference for familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Proficient in Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with project management tools such as Asana.

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.

• Experience with IT projects is preferred.

• Background in entrepreneurial and startup environments is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing work structure.

• Must be willing to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

• Comfortable using macOS as a primary workstation or willing to learn quickly.
