This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of and manage the School's Team comprehensive production calendar encompassing curriculum development, ancillary products, digital resources, video production, editorial, design, and product launches.
• Create project plans, timelines, milestones, and allocate resources for the development of curriculum and ancillary products.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous K–12 curriculum projects and synchronize schedules across both internal and external teams.
• Track project progress, identify risks, resource limitations, and dependencies, and escalate issues with proposed solutions.
• Ensure that projects remain on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities.
• Act as the primary communication hub for project teams and stakeholders.
• Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, follow-up on items, and create action plans.
• Keep all parties informed about project status, milestones, risks, and deadlines.
• Convert product vision into actionable project plans in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Manage internal and external resources, contractor onboarding, scheduling, contracts, and vendor implementations.
• Maintain project management systems, dashboards, documentation, workflows, specifications, meeting notes, and checklists.
• Coordinate quality assurance checkpoints and transitions throughout curriculum development, editorial, production, and product launch phases.
• Monitor project expenditures and resource usage.
• Develop dashboards and status reports for leadership and analyze project metrics.
• Assess workflows, create standardized templates and best practices, and support the adoption of project management tools and technologies.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement within the Schools Team.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Education, Operations, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, ideally in educational publishing, curriculum development, media production, or product development.
• PMP or Project Management Certification is preferred.
• Proven experience managing multiple intricate projects simultaneously.
• A servant-leader mindset with outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
• Exceptional capability to coordinate cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to Ascension headquarters in Exton, PA, as necessary.
