Project Manager – Provider Based Clinics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee special initiatives and act as the key liaison among ambulatory operations, clinical leadership, IT, revenue cycle, and various stakeholders.

• Supervise project communications, deliverables, timelines, departmental goals, and stakeholder engagement.

• Create reports and presentations to convey findings to leadership.

• Ensure that projects adhere to schedules, meet objectives and expectations, and comply with operational guidelines.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues raised by departmental leaders, IT, clinical teams, and support personnel.

• Assist the Director in standardizing processes and enhancing operations, best practices, and workflows.

• Launch programs and initiatives in collaboration with Directors and Senior Leadership, coordinating their implementation and completion.

• Lead project review meetings, track progress, perform issue audits, document the status of project plans, and advise stakeholders on CMS provider-based compliance in accordance with 42 CFR 413.65.

• Organize and conduct onsite gap assessments for provider-based clinics and RHCs throughout the health system as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Finance, or a related field OR 1–2 years of experience with Medicare Provider-Based and RHC regulations.

• Excellent communication and project management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of ambulatory operations, revenue cycle processes, and clinical workflows.

• Self-driven and adaptable to changing priorities or organizational shifts.

• Capability to sit, stand, or remain stationary for prolonged periods.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers with a full range of motion for typing, writing, and operating office equipment.
