This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Collaborate with program teams to convert strategic goals into clear delivery methods and actionable plans.
• Work alongside communications, digital, insights, analytics, operations, and leadership teams to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment.
• Assist in managing intricate projects within fast-paced and uncertain environments.
• Create project strategies, governance structures, delivery schedules, reporting frameworks, and project documentation.
• Track progress and handle risks, dependencies, issues, and resources effectively.
• Ensure that projects achieve established objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Foster trusted relationships across teams, functions, regions, and various seniority levels.
• Facilitate project planning, prioritization, workshops, problem-solving sessions, and decision-making processes.
• Align a variety of stakeholders around common goals and manage competing priorities.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
• Enhance project management frameworks, tools, systems, and operational methods.
• Document and disseminate lessons learned to bolster organizational capabilities.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise junior project management personnel.
• Contribute to the advancement of the Project Management Unit and project management practices at Meliore.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator.
• Proven experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish.
• Strong technical project management skills and the ability to tailor methodologies to various delivery contexts.
• Experience in supporting strategic communications, advocacy, campaigning, or mission-driven initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to influence without formal authority.
• Proficient in navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and creating clarity.
• Experience in managing project governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating across cultures, time zones, and multidisciplinary teams.
• A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, DASM, or an equivalent is highly preferred.
