Project Manager – Permitting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of local permitting regulations across different markets and simplify intricate processes.

• Guide clients through complex approval procedures to ensure swift and effective results.

• Establish and nurture connections with municipal personnel to expedite approval timelines.

• Manage several permitting projects, guaranteeing that milestones are achieved and projects move towards completion.

• Identify and address permitting challenges proactively to maintain project timelines.

• Work alongside product, engineering, and leadership teams to enhance Pulley’s platform and improve client experiences.

• Enhance best practices and workflows related to permitting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Illinois.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in architecture, construction, or permitting.

• Proven track record of involvement in various permitting procedures.

• Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and municipal officials.

• Proficient in relevant software tools and willing to learn new systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.

• Must indicate whether visa sponsorship will be necessary to work in the US.
