This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee the daily management of projects utilizing project management tools, processes, and methodologies to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
• Act as the primary contact for all aspects related to project organization and scheduling.
• Possess the capability to provide updates on all active projects whenever necessary.
• Develop both short-term and long-term plans, including establishing targets for milestones and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Organize and lead regular meetings to facilitate communication, alignment of initiatives, information sharing, and the implementation of best practices.
• Ensure all team members have the necessary information and resources to effectively execute their responsibilities.
• Exhibit consistent ownership and accountability for project delivery.
• Continuously conduct risk assessments and resolve issues as they arise, or promptly engage others to mitigate potential negative impacts on project timing and quality.
• Collaborate with relevant internal team members to coordinate action items and establish realistic timelines that align with business objectives.
• Collect and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations in processes, procedures, and tools to enhance efficiencies and reduce cycle time.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external resources to ensure timely project completion.
• Promote processes and automation to support LEAN methodologies in problem-solving.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and deliver regular streamlined reports to leadership.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the business and its evolving needs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or equivalent project management experience.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to meet project commitment deadlines.
• Familiarity with Outside Plant (OSP) architectures, including underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Understanding of LEAN concepts.
• PMP certification is preferred.
