This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee Major Component Upgrade (MCU) and Blade projects from the planning phase to project closeout
• Take responsibility for safety, quality, schedules, costs, customer satisfaction, and adherence to contracts
• Promote a culture of safety and manage project Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
• Ensure alignment with GE Vernova standards, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, prevailing wage laws, and accuracy of certified payroll
• Maintain documentation that is audit-ready for projects and manage quality records, inspection reports, punch lists, and final customer acceptance
• Create execution plans, lead kickoff meetings, track progress, manage risks and recovery plans, and conduct project evaluations
• Formulate and oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost control measures, invoicing support, change orders, and cost recovery strategies
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, lead status meetings, provide progress updates, manage expectations, and address any concerns
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors, crane service providers, logistics vendors, and equipment suppliers
• Collaborate with scheduling and resource management teams regarding staffing, equipment, mobilization, tooling, crane planning, logistics, outage planning, and project readiness
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Represent the Major Correctives organization professionally and mentor future project leaders
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience in the field will also be considered
• At least 2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial construction, heavy lift operations, field services, or similar sectors
• Proven experience managing Major Component Upgrades, Blade projects, or comparable large-scale field operations
• Familiarity with crane operations, lift planning, rigging techniques, and site logistics
• Experience in projects that operate within prevailing wage frameworks
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Smartsheet, and project management software
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required
• Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent project management training
• Preferred: Experience with wind turbine major component exchanges, blade repair or replacement, labor compliance, certified payroll, subcontracted workforces, Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and utility-scale renewable energy clients
