This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Project Manager holds operational accountability for the performance of assigned projects throughout the United States.
• Responsible for achieving project objectives and delivering agreed-upon results within the defined scope, timelines, and budget.
• Utilizes project management methodologies and processes in accordance with the Doka project management standards.
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with customers, jobsite personnel, and internal departments to assist clients in creating and implementing efficient formwork solutions.
• Facilitates the creation of project agreements within the project team.
• Prepares project calculations using DokaCalc for customer initiatives.
• Selects members of the project team in collaboration with line managers.
• Ensures project implementation aligns with Doka standards, including planning, controlling, and closing tasks, deadlines, resources, budgets, and risks.
• Distributes work packages among the project team.
• Maintains communication between various projects, customers, jobsite personnel, departments, organizations, and authorities.
• Manages project communication, information dissemination, and marketing efforts.
• Moderates meetings within the project team.
• Executes designated work packages.
• Prepares status reports and conducts controlling meetings as necessary.
• Ensures timely communication of relevant project information to the Head of Project Management for effective multi-project management.
• Regularly updates project schedules and monitors project expenses against initial calculations.
• Facilitates know-how transfer within the company.
• Signs all documents in accordance with the agreed signature protocols between the project owner and the project manager.
• Engages in proactive contract, risk, claim, and risk management.
• Inspires the team to achieve both team and company objectives.
• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (civil or structural), construction management, or project management is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Doka and/or project management is preferred.
• Proven ability to schedule projects to meet established deadlines.
• Strong technical knowledge coupled with experience in project management.
• Familiarity with project management software and computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong qualitative abilities, including analytical skills and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Eagerness and ability to learn new products, concepts, and techniques.
• Organized team player with robust leadership and time management skills.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• General understanding of U.S. regulations, local and national codes, legislation, and trends influencing the formwork industry.
