
Project Manager – Industrial Rack Storage Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Project Managers are tasked with initiating and guiding strategic initiatives that span the entire enterprise and involve multiple functions.
• Lead a diverse range of project types.
• Conduct kickoff meetings for both internal teams and external clients.
• Ensure that outcomes are of the highest quality, with a well-defined scope and measurable business advantages.
• Meticulously manage project scope to guarantee that commitments are fulfilled within the agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
• Create communication strategies and interfaces to carry out the project plan and scope effectively.
• Cultivate and sustain successful relationships with clients.
• Identify and develop business opportunities as they emerge.
• Oversee project initiation, quality assurance, and compliance.
• Review and submit change orders while effectively addressing issues and formulating resolutions.
• Monitor and manage project budgets.
• Ensure that subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders are thoroughly reviewed and accurate.
• Take part in developing schedules and sequencing of work activities.
• Create project timelines and be accountable for controlling project costs.
• Arrange transportation and ensure that materials and subcontractors align with scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to secure approval and installation drawings.
• Work with permit personnel to obtain necessary permits.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal daily oversight.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis, potentially up to 90% of the time.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience working with diverse groups and in matrix-managed settings.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project or equivalent tools.
• PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
