This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Plan and oversee various aspects of data center projects from their inception to completion.
• Coordinate implementation activities including asset management, resource allocation, progress monitoring, change control, documentation, training, and ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Manage assets and materials across data centers and storage facilities.
• Collect and maintain project requirement lists.
• Provide weekly updates on project status, including updates on action items.
• Schedule and coordinate project reviews while following up on assigned actions.
• Communicate project status to the project teams.
• Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, and expenditures.
• Identify project issues, determine the appropriate solution owners, and escalate problems to the client manager when necessary.
• Organize, participate in, and attend stakeholder meetings.
• Document and track significant meeting actions and decisions.
• Collaborate with regional teams responsible for project resources and ticket resolution.
• Monitor the ticketing system and reassign tickets as needed.
• Produce regular reports.
• Identify trends or recurring issues and escalate them to management.
• Locate and define opportunities for process improvements.
• Work closely with SDMs/Project Managers to identify critical metrics and KPIs and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, along with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships.
• Exercise judgment within established procedures and practices to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Willingness to occasionally adjust work hours to collaborate with regional colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with ticketing systems and/or project management systems.
• Understanding of or previous experience in a technology-driven environment.
• Proactive attitude and reliability.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Preferred: familiarity with various project management methodologies.
• Preferred: possession of various certifications (e.g., PMP).
