This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the execution of all safety compliance and quality programs at the project site.
• Actively engage in bidding and pre-construction services.
• Serve as the client's representative for Graycor.
• Communicate openly and confidently with all stakeholders involved in the project, building trust and rapport with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and local union officials.
• Oversee the performance of professional support staff at the project site.
• Maintain strict budgetary control and keep the project on schedule to ensure ongoing profitability.
• Execute subcontracts and purchase orders, and approve subcontractor invoices and change requests.
• Negotiate contract modifications with the client.
• Fulfill project close-out requirements.
• Mentor and train Project Engineers to support their continuous career growth and development.
• Implement innovative ideas.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in heavy industrial construction operations within the steel and metal producing sectors.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong leadership abilities coupled with a desire for success.
• Effective communication skills to motivate your team, delegate tasks, and present proposals to clients with confidence.
• Familiarity with a “self-perform” project environment and experience working in a unionized labor setting.
• Knowledge of lump sum and competitive bid environments is essential.
