
Project Manager – Environmental Remediation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Oversee environmental remediation projects at the federal level
• Manage and guide professional and technical personnel in executing intricate environmental projects
• Lead teams by applying advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
• Create technical solutions to intricate challenges utilizing existing technologies and experience
• Interpret and document data, perform analyses, and compare results with applicable studies and regulations
• Handle project invoicing, cash flow, financial statements, budgets, and budget monitoring
• Develop work plans and coordinate project studies
• Execute complex assignments and formulate unique problem-solving strategies with support from the project team
• Supervise junior and mid-level staff throughout various project phases
• Conduct reviews and offer feedback to staff
• Report periodically to the area manager
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
• Assist in business development efforts
• Lead Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction
• Travel overnight on occasion
• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of applicable experience, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or equivalent) is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation project management is preferred
• A Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with negotiations involving regulators and stakeholders is preferred
• Experience managing environmental projects for federal clients such as USACE, AFCEC, and Navy is preferred
• Comprehensive working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA is preferred
• Experience in managing teams and scheduling staff and resources
• Experience in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
• Experience leading federal environmental project studies and remediation activities
• Occasional overnight travel is required
