Project Manager, Cosmetic Product Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive coordination throughout the product development lifecycle, encompassing formulation, design, packaging design, and associated project phases.

• Manage project timelines and ensure teams regularly update project management tools.

• Follow up with stakeholders regarding deadlines, outstanding tasks, and deliverables.

• Maintain clarity on priorities to keep the team concentrated on the most critical tasks.

• Facilitate the successful transition of products from development to launch.

• Potentially assist in go-to-market coordination, including collaboration with marketing on launch-related initiatives such as email and SMS campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience.

• Strong background in project management, preferably within product development.

• Exceptional organizational abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Confidence in holding team members accountable and directly addressing missed deadlines.

• High proficiency in English and effective daily communication skills.

• Experience managing extensive cross-functional projects is advantageous.

• Background in consumer packaged goods, cosmetics, beauty, or licensed merchandise is highly valued.

• Familiarity with licensed intellectual property and brand approval processes.

• Product development experience in a consumer products setting.

• Experience coordinating between product and marketing teams.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
