Project Manager – BESS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of innovative battery energy storage projects (BESS) from the detailed planning phase through construction to commissioning.

• Manage multiple storage projects on a cross-project basis.

• Prepare project-based budgets and ensure adherence to scope, costs, schedules, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with the engineering department for the coordination of technical detailed designs.

• Supervise plant planning and construction activities.

• Align and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, grid operators, and suppliers.

• Document all stages of the project within the digital end-to-end project development and management platform.

• Contribute insights for the ongoing enhancement of the project platform.

• Perform site visits and provide on-site project support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Master's or Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related discipline.

• Several years of project management experience, ideally in the energy or real estate sectors, with a focus on renewable energies.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to implement customer-focused solutions pragmatically.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to interact with individuals in a friendly and respectful manner.

• Commitment to the company's values and a desire to contribute to the energy transition.

• Open, empathetic communication style and a strong sense of teamwork.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.

• Willingness to conduct on-site construction visits.

• Valid driver's license (Class B).
