Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the deployment and transformation of IT solutions in a healthcare setting

• Oversee intricate clinical technology projects

• Organize large, multi-faceted project teams

• Collaborate closely with senior clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders

• Ensure the secure and efficient implementation of healthcare information systems

• Develop and manage operational and clinical requirements

• Assist in the standardization of clinical services

• Track project advancements

• Manage stakeholder expectations effectively

• Ensure healthcare personnel are suitably trained for system changes

• Report on project progress to senior clinical management

• Coordinate the testing of HL7-based healthcare system integrations

⛳️ Requirements

• Current PMP or PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner certification

• Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification

• Over 10 years of Project Management experience in implementing IT projects within healthcare settings

• Proven experience in reporting project progress to senior clinical management

• Demonstrated experience in ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in clinical environments

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing or upgrading the Altera Sunrise suite in an acute-care setting

• Experience in coordinating Altera Sunrise implementations with clinical resources and management

• Proven track record in preparing healthcare staff for new system rollouts

• Minimum of 5 years directly testing or managing the testing of healthcare information system integrations using HL7

• At least 5 years leading the implementation of healthcare information systems at a provincial or state-wide level

• Experience in developing operational and clinical requirements and standardizing clinical services

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing large-scale healthcare solutions in clinical environments

• Proven ability to manage high-level clinical stakeholders

• Experience in leading large, multi-stream project teams

• Candidate must be able to work from within Canada
