This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager is tasked with the comprehensive management, coordination, and delivery of designated projects.
• Ensure that the project is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and adheres to the required scope and quality standards.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients and other project stakeholders to manage expectations effectively.
• Provide regular project updates and on-demand reports to senior management.
• Demonstrate leadership in project HSE execution by adhering to and promoting Rising Edge HSE policies and programs.
• Assist with project estimating as needed, including project bid walks, execution plans, and identifying project risks.
• Develop and sustain a project execution plan, critical risk path, and milestones schedule for each assigned project.
• Manage project modifications in accordance with established change management procedures, ensuring all changes are communicated to the client and project team.
• Maintain all project documentation, including the project execution plan, risk register, schedule, health and safety plan, quality plan, and any mandatory RET project documentation.
• Oversee project expenditures and ensure compliance with the approved budget, aligning man-hour projections for assigned projects.
• Coordinate project materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to ensure successful and timely fulfillment of project requirements.
• Ensure prompt processing of accounts receivable and payable invoices to maintain cash flow.
• Maintain project reporting for both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, including kick-offs, updates, change orders, recovery plans, and lessons learned sessions.
• Always remain aware of safety and environmental requirements for each assigned project.
• Continuously be cognizant of quality and acceptance requirements for each assigned project.
• Identify project staffing needs, including specialized consultants and subcontractors.
• Establish clear expectations for project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate project closure and conduct post-mortem analyses to identify opportunities for improvement; provide recommendations based on findings.
• Cultivate business development opportunities with existing clients through outstanding project execution and professional relationships.
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered a plus.
• Experience with electric utility clients is regarded as an asset.
• Prior experience executing EPC projects is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing medium to large full-cycle construction projects is required.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage a diverse team in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment, are advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, HardDollar, and ViewPoint Construction Software is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
