Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide support for VA initiatives through project management, scheduling, analysis, testing, and implementation.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of intricate healthcare modernization projects.

• Create and sustain detailed project schedules that monitor systems development.

• Supervise the development of testing strategies, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and readiness assessments.

• Assist VA project management leadership by managing multiple simultaneous Payer EDI modernization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is acceptable.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.

• At least six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in project management is necessary.

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting federal healthcare programs, ideally within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal healthcare agencies.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is advantageous.

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification is preferred.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is a plus.
