Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and strategies for resource allocation.

• Facilitate effective communication among internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Track progress, identify risks and issues, and implement strategies for mitigation.

• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and expenditure tracking.

• Manage change requests and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

• Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead project meetings and eliminate obstacles to project success.

• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in project management.

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or other similar tools.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or another Agile certification is preferred.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with change management and process improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Experience in presenting project updates to senior leadership is preferred.
