Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned projects from start to finish, including managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and status updates.

• Facilitate the creation and delivery of educational programs, resources, learning platforms, and associated operational tasks.

• Collaborate with instructional designers and technical teams on course and content development, requirements gathering, testing, releases, implementation, and adoption of educational resources and technologies.

• Cultivate cross-functional relationships, promote communication, and ensure decisions and action items are executed effectively.

• Recognize and monitor risks and issues; independently address challenges or provide leadership with evaluations and recommendations.

• Explore opportunities to integrate AI into project and business workflows; configure or assist in developing chatbots, custom GPTs, Claude Skills, or reusable AI workflows and evaluate outputs.

• Generate initial drafts, plans, and recommendations in uncertain situations.

• Enhance workflows, documentation, tracking, and project transparency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.

• 3+ years of pertinent project management experience, including ownership of project plans, timelines, deliverables, and team coordination.

• Proven initiative, accountability, and follow-through, with the ability to independently progress work and fulfill commitments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability.

• Demonstrated expertise with generative AI platforms, including OpenAI and Anthropic; capability to design, test, and refine effective prompts and apply suitable human review and verification to AI-generated results.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, develop insightful recommendations and work products, and seek guidance when necessary.

• Experience collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams while managing competing priorities.

• Capacity to quickly learn and apply new technologies, platforms, and systems.

• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar project management and collaboration tools.

• Preferred: PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification.

• Preferred: Experience supporting NIH-funded programs, federal contracts, biomedical research, or scientific initiatives.

• Preferred: Background in collaborating with software development or technical teams, including knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting education, training, instructional design, or capacity-building programs.

• Preferred: Knowledge of learning management systems, educational technology, or other technology-enhanced learning platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in teaching, training facilitation, or instructional roles.

• Preferred: Background in implementing new systems, enhancing workflows, or supporting technology adoption.
