Project Management Analyst, Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluates the status of projects and budgets; oversees schedules and generates status reports.

• Identifies project challenges and formulates solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction targets.

• Establishes systems for tracking project advancement and facilitates intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

• Manages and supervises the operational elements of ongoing projects while acting as a liaison among project management, planning, project teams, and line management.

• Aids in the creation of contract-required deliverables, including technical direction plans, rough order of magnitude pricing, and management of the risk register.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 years of pertinent experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent along with 7 years of relevant experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in supporting complex technical projects and/or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD).

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management applications.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Solid understanding of tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a functionally diverse team.

• Comprehensive knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.

• Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Preferred Requirements Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.

• Project Management Professional or other project management certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, processes, and reporting tools such as MS Projects.
