Project Management Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support the advancement of projects as Gainwell aids clients in achieving improved health and human services outcomes via technology and innovation.

• Oversee one or more extensive project management teams by decomposing larger technological programs and facilitating project staffing.

• Lead project planning, tracking, and supervision of assigned personnel by providing guidance and setting deadlines.

• Engage with clients, company executives, and project team leaders; assess and share project metrics and status updates.

• Suggest program modifications as necessary.

• Develop project timelines, program definitions, budgets, and objectives across all phases.

• Manage non-direct reports by escalating risks and implementing solutions for risk mitigation.

• Draft detailed statements of work (SOWs) and assist with new proposal initiatives and business development efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the complete project management life cycle.

• At least 3 years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare is preferred.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Current knowledge of budget development, control, and assurance techniques.

• Familiarity with project management software.

• Capability to convert broader program objectives into specific and achievable project scopes and milestones.

• Leadership skills to train, guide, and mentor junior team members.

• Excellent executive presentation abilities.

• Proficient in communicating project priorities and inspiring both direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to take action.
