This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and initiatives focused on process improvement.
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, trackers, status reports, and various project management documents.
• Oversee project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and actionable items.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that activities remain in line with objectives and timelines.
• Examine business processes, workflows, and procedures to pinpoint inefficiencies, redundancies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Produce current-state and future-state process maps as well as workflow documentation.
• Lead discussions on process improvement, conduct working sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering activities.
• Aid in assessing and implementing recommendations for process improvements.
• Promote continuous improvement through data collection, analysis, and performance tracking.
• Create standard operating procedures, process documentation, job aids, guidance materials, and operational resources.
• Monitor and report on project and process improvement performance metrics.
• Prepare project status updates, executive briefings, presentations, dashboards, and management deliverables.
• Identify and document project risks, developing strategies for mitigation.
• Coordinate information and deliverables among various teams, programs, and stakeholders.
• Support change management efforts associated with new processes, systems, policies, or organizational initiatives.
• Analyze project and operational data to discover trends and guide management decisions.
• Keep project and process documentation organized and ensure that deliverables are complete and current.
• Assist with quality assurance and review of project outputs and process improvement deliverables.
• Help with implementation plans and track the execution of approved recommendations.
• Perform additional related tasks that support CDC program and operational goals.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, public administration, organizational development, operations management, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management support, business analysis, process improvement, management analysis, or similar activities.
• Proven experience in supporting projects from the planning phase through to implementation.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports.
• Experienced in analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows.
• Familiar with creating process maps, standard operating procedures, and other relevant documentation.
• Experience in gathering requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in producing clear, concise written and visual materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• This position is contingent upon contract award.
