Project Implementation Manager, Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical implementation, configuration, deployment, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support for healthcare software solutions provided by Elsevier.

• Design, configure, and resolve issues related to integrations with customer healthcare systems, EHR platforms, FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR applications, REST integrations, and HL7 v2 interfaces.

• Convert customer business, clinical, and technical requirements into actionable implementation plans, workflows, solution configurations, and readiness activities.

• Act as the main technical liaison for customer IT, clinical informatics, interoperability, and operational stakeholders during the implementation process.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams to manage risks, address issues, enhance processes, and promote successful adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare software implementation, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or technical project delivery.

• Background in implementing enterprise software within healthcare provider, health system, or healthcare technology settings.

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, including HL7 v2, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, REST APIs, web services, and healthcare authentication/security frameworks.

• Experience collaborating directly with customer IT, interoperability, and application teams.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Preferred experience with major EHR ecosystems such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Meditech, or athenahealth.

• Helpful experience with integration engines like Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or Corepoint.

• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SSO, HIPAA, and healthcare privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
