Project Engineer – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Operational Management: Conducting daily evaluations of ongoing projects in ClickUp, allocating responsibilities, overseeing task execution, and ensuring adherence to strict project timelines.

• Quality Assurance & Review: Overseeing the quality of drawings, verifying project documentation, and guaranteeing compliance prior to final delivery.

• Technical Mentorship: Guiding project engineers on intricate and non-standard projects, engaging in node development, and facilitating daily/weekly team synchronization meetings.

• Process Standardization: Tailoring and managing workspaces in Slack/ClickUp, creating internal document templates, and refreshing working groups.

• Reporting: Compiling weekly and monthly progress and efficiency reports for the Head of Engineering.

• Working with measurements, sketches, and diagrams (Imperial system) in the USA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English at the **B2+** level; Russian/Ukrainian language at **C1+** level.

• Strong command of essential engineering software such as AutoCAD 2D, Solidworks 3D, or similar tools.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline).

• Extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of fundamental engineering design principles.

• 2–3+ years of experience as a project engineer with a successful track record of managing complex engineering projects.

• Robust experience with task management systems and time-tracking software.

• Expertise in developing internal onboarding and training materials (video instructions, checklists, technical templates) to enhance departmental workflows.

• Capability to analyze and refine design solutions with regard to cost, time, and resources.

• Ability to operate independently, make decisive technical choices, and proactively address operational challenges.

• Experience working with project documentation across various development stages, including sketches, working drawings, and final specifications.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional departments (Project Managers, Estimators, CQO, Suppliers, Manufacturing, and Site Installation teams) to clarify technical requirements and resolve conflicts.
