Project Engineer, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute the installation and configuration of laboratory systems, integrate software into laboratory workflows (including mapping of daily routines), and implement LIS projects.

• Serve as a reliable technical contact while engaging in customer assignments or projects.

• Facilitate the adoption of emerging technologies, such as data-driven and AI-enabled solutions, to enhance laboratory workflows and system performance when applicable.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager or Customer Services Manager, adhering to their guidance and planning.

• Propose and identify technical risks, including those related to data integrity and AI-enabled features, and communicate them effectively.

• Prepare execution plans and relevant documentation.

• Ensure all work is accurately documented in internal systems (projects and aftersales).

• Complete assigned tasks in accordance with project plans, budgets, and quality standards.

• Assume full responsibility for all technical aspects of delegated tasks.

• Keep stakeholders updated on progress and potential risks.

• Exhibit flexibility and provide support for on-site customer implementations.

• Manage and execute small projects or sub-projects.

• Conduct customer training, including guidance on system data usage and reporting capabilities.

• Act as a liaison between customers and development teams.

• Organize and carry out internal and external project handovers.

• Undertake update and upgrade projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

• Alternatively: IT technical training with experience in medical laboratory processes.

• Proven experience in the implementation of LIS / LIMS systems.

• Strong comprehension of laboratory processes and organization.

• Familiarity with common IT applications.

• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) / LIMS.

• Knowledge of healthcare communication standards (HL7, ASTM, IHE).

• Understanding of operating systems, networking, and virtualization.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
