Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to comprehend project requirements and goals.

• Create comprehensive plans and designs for formwork and shoring systems that adhere to project specifications and structural demands.

• Employ industry-standard software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to produce precise drawings, models, and calculations.

• Offer technical expertise and support to project teams and clients concerning formwork and shoring solutions.

• Work alongside engineers, architects, and construction professionals to tackle technical challenges and enhance project efficiency.

• Determine and choose suitable formwork and shoring materials based on project needs, budget limitations, and site conditions.

• Ensure that formwork and shoring systems meet industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Track project progress, recognize potential risks or delays, and execute corrective actions as necessary.

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.

• Engage in construction projects for Doka USA, a provider of formwork solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in formwork and shoring design, ideally within the construction sector.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant advantage.

• External candidates must have authorization to work for any employer in the USA.
