This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Analyze manufacturing-related plans, technical work products, documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials.
• Evaluate technical accuracy, analytical rigor, operational realism, feasibility, and professional quality.
• Assess manufacturing requirements, constraints, assumptions, recommendations, process designs, workflows, dependencies, and performance factors.
• Identify technical inconsistencies, unsupported conclusions, inefficiencies, technical gaps, calculation errors, discrepancies, factual or logical errors, and impractical approaches.
• Review production planning and technical operations materials, workflows, resource considerations, and execution requirements.
• Examine engineering calculations, analyses, specifications, spreadsheets, tables, metrics, assumptions, and supporting data.
• Critique technical documents and presentation decks for clarity, accuracy, structure, visual presentation, and information hierarchy.
• Evaluate assigned work products against domain-specific quality standards.
• Differentiate between material engineering issues and minor editorial concerns.
• Deliver clear, structured written feedback and consistently apply evaluation criteria across all assignments.
• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, production engineering, technical operations, or a closely associated engineering field.
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Operations Engineer, or a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical operations.
• Capability to assess engineering materials for technical accuracy, feasibility, and operational relevance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to give precise, structured feedback.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this role.
• Part-time independent contractor position.
