Project Employee, Digital and Social Content Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Generate real-time graphics on a nightly basis with a focus on quality and audience engagement.

• Develop graphics and narrative-driven content for NBA's social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, and GIPHY.

• Assist in real-time game coverage by creating and managing graphics from the NBA’s Content Command Center.

• Maintain consistency in the NBA's brand voice across all social media posts.

• Engage in content planning discussions for NBA social media channels.

• Keep an eye on social media trends and suggest innovative ideas to attract new audiences and enhance fan engagement.

• Possibly cover NBA events by sharing behind-the-scenes content on NBA platforms.

• Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary.

• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

• Detail-oriented and meticulous approach to design.

• Strong enthusiasm for the NBA, its players, coaches, and teams.

• Understanding of basketball statistics, analytics, and game rules.

• Awareness of NBA culture, including sneakers, fashion, and music.

• Strong command of major social media platforms and knowledge of the NBA's utilization of each.

• Excellent writing skills accompanied by sound editorial judgment.

• Capability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
