Project Director Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary program leader for comprehensive enterprise Epic implementations, upgrades, and significant optimization initiatives within healthcare organizations.

• Deliver executive-level leadership and governance in collaboration with client executives and operational leaders.

• Oversee program execution, encompassing scope, timelines, budgets, risk management, and quality outcomes.

• Mentor junior staff and assist in enhancing their skills and delivery expertise.

• Participate in steering committees, executive reporting, and decision-making forums.

• Identify potential risks and issues, formulate mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolutions with senior stakeholders.

• Ensure cohesive alignment between Epic and internal client teams.

• Aid client readiness initiatives, including change management, training strategies, cutover planning, and support during go-live.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare consulting or healthcare IT, particularly focused on Epic implementations.

• Previous management consulting experience is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Director or Program Director for at least one large-scale Epic implementation.

• Familiarity with Epic implementation methodologies and essential tools related to build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.

• Comprehension of clinical, revenue cycle, and operational workflows within provider organizations.

• Possess executive presence and experience in engaging and influencing C-suite and senior leadership.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
