Project Director – Canvassing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee a range of voter registration and canvassing initiatives for the year 2026.

• Directly supervise all project team members, including Operations Directors, Regional Directors, Canvass Managers, and Operations Associates.

• Create high-quality, innovative programs catering to a wide and diverse array of clients and partners.

• Report directly to the National Program Directors.

• Guide, mentor, and manage the daily operations of the project team.

• Foster an inclusive environment that promotes learning and professional development for every team member.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of each project.

• Maintain strong communication and engagement with client stakeholders in collaboration with RFS leadership.

• Ensure compliance with reporting and accountability standards, providing timely, actionable data and information to campaign leadership.

• Travel to and remain on-site for the duration of assigned projects to deliver in-person management to the project team.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of management experience, ideally within a campaign, advocacy, or organizing context.

• Willingness and ability to work a demanding schedule, which may exceed 70 hours per week during peak periods and typically includes evenings and weekends.

• Must have access to a cell phone and laptop.

• Must have reliable personal transportation and provide proof of driver's insurance.

• Must be available to travel and/or relocate to project sites nationwide on short notice; RFS covers travel, lodging, and related expenses.

• Highly organized, capable of effectively managing project goals and operations while multitasking without sacrificing work quality.

• Proven ability to foresee challenges and address issues proactively.

• Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills.

• Skilled in motivating and managing a diverse team of staff.

• Demonstrated capability to collaborate with colleagues and external organizations.

• Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred.
