This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Provide coordination support for projects within a specific geographic area and manage assigned network initiatives.
• Facilitate and oversee project scheduling and tracking for a portfolio of small to medium-sized network installation and upgrade projects.
• Monitor and manage project scope, budget, timeline, installation, and integration processes.
• Supervise internal TDS and third-party resources as part of the build plan workflow.
• Coordinate scheduling activities using Clarity alongside project plans, reports, and charts.
• Maintain project plans throughout their life cycle in accordance with internal practices and procedures.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, within scope, and with high quality.
• Provide direction to internal TDS and third-party resources during projects.
• Ensure that construction quality audits and inspections are conducted thoroughly.
• Guarantee compliance with TDS standards in construction practices and required acceptance tests.
• Assist resource managers in the tactical application of tools and reports.
• Generate regular and ad hoc detailed project and portfolio reports and notifications.
• Track capital budget expenditures and provide SAP reporting as necessary.
• Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements and processes.
• Close projects, including activities related to budget, invoices, contracts, and retirement of units.
• Review project documentation and data for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate and suggest modifications to methods and procedures.
• Perform basic office administration tasks.
• Stay updated on installation procedures and regulatory processes.
• Assist in planning network changes and prepare reports for submission to the Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) –OR– over 4 years of relevant professional work experience.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in telecommunications or commercial construction.
• At least 1 year of experience in project leadership.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in project management with budget responsibilities.
• Completed one or more projects through all phases of at least one life cycle.
• Willingness to travel, averaging 10% of the time, which may include overnight stays.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.
• Capable of planning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and oral communication abilities and conflict resolution skills.
• Competence in resourcing, organizing, and deploying a strong team while fostering a collaborative spirit.
• Familiarity with relevant tools for the systems involved, such as MS Project, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any functional systems impacted by the project.
• Ability to quickly understand key business objectives of the unit supported by the project.
• Experience in engineering, design, or installation within the telecommunications sector.
• Capability to communicate with various stakeholders to grasp the value proposition of each project and request.
• Skill in influencing others without organizational authority.
• Proven success in utilizing teams effectively and demonstrating personal adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to apply effective processes and sound judgment to modify procedures as circumstances necessitate.
