This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist Technical Project Managers with the daily execution of projects.
• Establish, configure, and oversee Jira projects, boards, workflows, issue types, custom fields, and permission schemes.
• Develop and maintain Confluence spaces, pages, templates, and repositories for project documentation.
• Ensure Jira data integrity by removing duplicate or outdated tickets, enforcing naming standards, and aiding in backlog grooming.
• Oversee user access, roles, and project settings in collaboration with IT/Jira administrators.
• Resolve day-to-day issues related to Jira and Confluence.
• Facilitate scheduling, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
• Monitor action items and follow up with responsible task owners.
• Support resource tracking, timeline updates, and dependency management.
• Coordinate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and client representatives.
• Assist with change management and UAT coordination activities.
• Help onboard team members to project tools and processes.
• Create Jira reports and dashboards, and prepare presentations suitable for stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or similar position.
• Ideally experienced in supporting technology implementation projects.
• Practical expertise in administering and configuring Jira, including workflows, boards, custom fields, permissions, and JQL.
• Strong familiarity with Confluence, including space/page setup, templates, and documentation organization.
• Capability to generate Jira reports and dashboards using native reporting, JQL filters, and gadgets.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint with the ability to create polished, stakeholder-ready presentations from raw data.
• Understanding of project management principles, including timelines, RAID logs, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with utility clients or in the utilities/energy sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools beyond Jira and Confluence is preferred.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred; Certified ScrumMaster or similar certification is advantageous.
• CAPM or PMP certification, or active pursuit thereof, is preferred.
• Experience supporting SaaS/ERP/CIS technology implementations is preferred.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Smartsheet, or MS Project is preferred.
• Background in management consulting and client-facing roles is preferred.
• Basic understanding of change management principles is preferred.
• Must currently have authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
