Project Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead essential accounting and finance initiatives for mid-market to large-scale clients

• Tackle intricate challenges across various industries

• Act as Interim Controller while supervising financial operations

• Oversee accounting tasks, transactions, and the month-end closing process

• Prepare and evaluate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance

• Direct special projects, including system transitions, audit preparations, and financial integrations for mergers and acquisitions

• Possibly supervise staff based on client requirements

• Work collaboratively with client teams

• Travel as needed to meet client demands

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related disciplines

• Experience in complex, multi-entity organizations

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities

• Strong self-motivation and initiative in uncertain situations

• Expertise in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP

• Proficient in data analysis tools

• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization

• Capability to pass comprehensive background checks, including criminal, credit, education, certification, and references

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred

• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred

• Willingness to travel frequently and unpredictably based on client requirements

• Ability to function in a professional office setting

• Capability to sit at a desk and work in front of a computer screen for extended periods

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
